Re: Links between Buttons and Bookmarks are breaking when Table of Contents is updated

This is still an issue in CC 2018. Each time I update the TOC my buttons, which are Go to Destination, change to all going to the first listed bookmark, by alphabet. So in my case every button then goes to "Additional Tools", but they don't even go to that when an interactive pdf is created.

 

I've changed the destination for these buttons so many times - and it's not just this one document. Every document that has buttons has this problem.

 

I followed the instructions regarding checking "Make Text Anchor in Source Paragraph" in the TOC panel - but that didn't seem to make any difference.

 

This is really frustrating!

I´m using the last one (6.3.29-6). I´ve noticed the strange behavior 2 or 3 days ago. I don't remember having problem before that, when I was using 7.3.

 

Already tried to disable "Use Windows Ink" on Wacom panel, but didn't helped.

Strange is that other apps is OK.

I can't think of any search function for a PDF that will do that. Note that italics in PDF are not a style, they are set as an entirely different font. Assuming you do some kind of OCR anyway. What level of OCR accuracy do you see? Such magazines are far from ideal source material.

Sorry for the delay in response.

I checked your account with the email ID you are logged-in on forums. I couldn't see anything but Adobe Export PDF service, with this you won't be able to convert a file to PDF format. You may check FAQ for Export PDF: FAQ | Adobe Export PDF, Document Cloud

 

To convert files from different formats to PDF format, you need either Acrobat Pro/Standard or you can have Convert/PDFPack service.

Captivate 2017 - 10.0.1.285 - Projects not playing - HTML5 - SCORM

Hello Friends,

 

   I updated, yesterday, to the latest version of Captivate 2017. Since the update, and I try to play HTML5 project, after being published, the following screen appears in the web browser:

Nothing happens until I press the play button. Auto play is turned on. Below is an image of what the first slide timeline looks like:

 

When I publish the project as a SCORM file, and load to my LMS, the project never starts. I have tried this on IE11, and FF59. If I go back to my other posted SCORM files, they start just fine; it only seems to be the projects that I publish in this updated version.  Any ideas on why this is happening with the most recent update?

It's very strange circumstances and even Adobe had said they've never received such an odd error before.

 

It's like it all there but not wanting to display! i may give them a try if i can get sign off from my M.D... £42 with no guarantee + a fee after

 

That being said the fee of me having to recreate everything would out weight that so, we shall see!

Spark as platform offering

Through a previous post, it appeared that Creative Cloud was offered under Azure platform, and subsequently a notice that Spark was offered under Creative Cloud.  Can someone clarify whether Spark is offered as feature on Azure?

As you have mentioned you need help with activation, kindly let us know which Adobe application you have purchased or installed on your machine along with your computer's operating system and its version.

 

Meanwhile check and confirm if you are following the steps given in the following help document to activate Adobe apps: Learn how to activate and deactivate Creative Cloud apps.

Lost files

Recently Windows crashed had to re-install. Installed Photoshop CC and Lightroom to a non-boot hard drive. Recovered/ imported from the first hard drive. Imported new images to 2nd hard drive. Nest morning the Lightroom CC showed the folders I'd setup as empty. I used 'File Explorer' and saw all the images that Lightroom CC said were not there.

 

I attempted to re-import those files from the hard drive, Lightroom CC import function showed the files in the folders but grayed them out as though they were duplicates.

I copied the files to different folders and still can not import them, even when un-checking 'Don't import Suspected Duplicates.'

 

I moved the images out of those folders and was able to import. Now I can't remove those empty folders from Lightroom CC.

 

Any Idea as to what I did/ And how to I correct.

Trying to update to 10.3 on windows 10 system.

Are you attempting to install Flash Player 10.3?  If so, please don't.  10.3 is over 5 years old and, if you're referring to ActiveX for IE, not supported on Windows 10.

 

Microsoft embeds Flash Player in IE and Edge on Windows 10 and all updates are released by Microsoft via Windows Updates. 

 

Microsoft does disable Flash by default, and user's must enable it, usually on a per-site basis.  See the following for assistance:

Hello,

Trying to update to 10.3 on windows 10 system.  flash player is enabled but the adobe web site wont allow me to update to 10.3.  it simply says to toggle on the enable button under advanced settings.  The download option keeps telling me I already adobe which I know.  help please, have school work due soon.

I am having the same issue. The gradient tool does not function properly anymore. When I copy and paste in the gradient box I want, it turns to a solid color. When I select gradient the dialog box pops up, but you cannot change the colors (arrows) on the sliders.

Scale text and ancored elemtns

I have indesgin CC on a mac.

Is there a way to scale a frame and have text and anchored objects scale proportionately?

If I design a basic branding logo on one page and want to use it on multiple pages with different sizes I seem to have to adjust the text size and shapes all over again.

Exercise 3, part 3 - Sending a Delivery

While I am able to create a campaign and add a delivery successfully, I am unable to see a workflow link which I can click and access the workflow editor.

Am I selecting an incorrect template or doing something wrong while creating the campaign?

This is very strange, and it's not an issue I've seen personally or heard reported by another customer. I'm trying to think of what would be reset by restarting that would be relevant here.

 

A few questions:

 

- What is your system configuration?

- Are you running any anti-virus or IT software that might affect network access, or the storage of files in your user directories (%APPDATA%\Adobe on Windows, or ~/Library/Application Data/Adobe and ~/Library/Preferences/Adobe on the Mac)?

- When you are in this state, what exactly happens when you choose "Open Team Project..."

- If you browse to a Team Project in the Media Browser that you have edited, then look at the Auto-Saves tab for that Team Project, are you able to scroll back to previous auto-saves for that Team Project?

- If you quit Premiere, log out of Creative Cloud, log back in again, then re-launch Premiere, do the Team Projects reappear in the list?

 

Sorry for all of the questions. Just trying to get to the bottom of this.
