Indesign PDF anomaly on iPad

I have an indesign document with pages A B A B A B A B A B etc. When sent to my iPad the pages are in the correct order but the strip along the bottom has them as AAAAA BBBBB AAAAA BBBBB. What have I done wrong? I used the web view setting.

Also the PDF now has a tab enabling it to be emailed but a previously made PDF does not.

Any ideas
