Re: Tips on editing footage with 4 synched audio tracks

  1. Select all the media in the project window (video file + 4x audio files)
  2. Right-click and pick 'Merge Clips'.
  3. In the dialog box that opens, select the 'Synchronize Point' to 'Audio'.  (Only if the video file has reference audio... If you're going by timecode, select 'Timecode' as the Sync Point instead)
  4. This will create a new alias/merged clip, with four audio tracks.  You'll be able to drag this onto the timeline and all four tracks will be shown.  You can cut it in the source window and just place portions into your sequence.  Later, in audio post, you can mix the four tracks as required using Premiere or Audition.
