Thanks Peru Bob for your suggestion. However the HF S10 records the video on a fixed card inside the camcorder and the only way to get it on my computer is by connecting the two with a USB cable, start Premiere Elements, click “Add Media” and select “Video from Flip or Cameras.” But then I get a message “No supported device has been detected.” I also have Pinnacle Studio 16 and there is no problem with downloading the video with Studio 16.
