The problem seems to be fixed. I am not positive as to why, but here is what I did. I created a new project and pretty much did what I did before (I think). The one thing I know I did differently is that when exporting the audio with Surcode, I selected Bluray as the "target". It offers 3 targets. 1. Dolby 2. Dolby Plus 3. Bluray. It defaults to Dolby and their website does not (or did not) have an updated documentation showing or explaining what these Targets are or what they do. Apparently this option is brand new. However, Surcode people contacted me after I succeeded and insisted that the change of targets would have had no effect. It now works and I am sticking to the workflow that worked. I bought the Surcode plug in and it is real fast and sounds great. Encore 6 took the file with no need for transcoding.
