Hey have you had any luck?
I've just received the exact same NAS system from a client with footage already loaded. I am running on an iMac Pro so I have TB3 obviously.
When I directly connect to the NAS through TB3, I have to mount it as a network drive (as expected), but wholly hell it is SO slow and sluggish. It's so so in finder but it's freaking terrible in Premiere. This isn't the first time I've experience Premiere having useless speed with networked drives so I have a feeling it's on their end, I'd love to be proven wrong though!
Does anyone know if there is a specific protocol for which the drive has to be mounted and hence why it may be so damn slow?
